Like many here, I'm a die-hard fisherman. However, I have yet to post a report here, ever, so I thought I might as well for a change.
Last week I was fishing up north in Northern Wisconsin - have a house up in Vilas/Oneida co. so I spend a TON of time up there each year. Wish I could live there year-round. For those who are unaware of the area, there are approximately 3,000-4,000 lakes in the area..... So there is a TON of fishing to be had.
I have a strong interest for fishing many of the lakes for Smallmouth Bass and some great experiences were had last week. I have a huge report about it up on my blog but it would be way too much just to copy & paste onto here. With that being said, here is a link to last week's Smallmouth Bass fishing:

In addition, I would also like to include my first major trip from this summer into this post. During second week of June one of my good fishing friends and I annually travel north to the same grounds for a full week of fishing. This trip marked the first time that my fixed up and new boat was really used and put to the test!

Other than that, I fish every day locally in the Chicago area, wading the rivers but lately nothing noteworthy has been caught. Thankfully, my next up-north trip will be approx. 9 days from now!
