While the average day of a pond and lake management specialist might not be full of thrills, there are a few moments from time to time that I actually like my job. The two biggest bass I have ever caught were at ponds that we take care of. I caught one of those bass today. I have never caught a fish on a frog, but this pond has a lot of watershield (looks like water lilies, but they don't flower) all around the edges. I threw the only frog I own, which happens to be in my throw together/work tackle box. Its a green Snag Proof Casting frog. I just fished it from the guy's dock on an 8+acre lake parallel with the shoreline and watershield. It was 19 inches and fat. At least 5lbs for sure.
